Motion puts New York nightlife tickets, tables and the guest list on a single pass. Here is what happens from the first tap to the door.
Sign in with your number
No app and no password. Enter your phone number, type the 6-digit code we text you, and add your name the first time. That's your Motion account.
Buy a ticket or book a table
Pick a night, choose a ticket tier and pay on a secure Stripe checkout. Service fees and the venue's sales tax are shown before you pay. Tables and guest-list spots from a promoter land in the same place.
One pass, in Apple Wallet
Everything you have for a night sits on one Motion pass. On iPhone, add it to Apple Wallet; on any phone you can also open it at themotion.party/pass. Your pass is tied to your account, not to a screenshot.
One scan at the door
Show the pass and your photo ID. The door scans it once and you're in: a ticket is guaranteed entry, walk-ins are at the door's discretion. Entry is 21+.
Refunds and transfers
Refunds follow the venue's policy for that night, and service fees are not refundable. Tickets are non-transferable unless the venue says otherwise. The full wording is in the terms.
